About GRAVAXE: Physics-Based Mining Arcade
GRAVAXE is a physics-based mining arcade game set in an endless underground mine. The core idea is simple but satisfying: position a pickaxe, drop it, and watch physics take over as it tumbles and rotates through layers of earth. Breaking blocks, collecting coins, and gathering valuable gems fuel a steady loop of upgrades that push each run a little deeper than the last. Because every drop plays out differently, careful positioning and timing matter from the very first release.
One scene shows small blue crystal clusters embedded in dark brown earthen walls braced by wooden planks and nails.
How to Play GRAVAXE: Drop, Dig, and Upgrade
Drag the pickaxe left or right to set its starting position above the mine, then press DROP to send it down. Once released, the pickaxe moves and rotates entirely under physics — there is no further control over it. Blocks break when the pickaxe head connects with them, and coins and gems collected during the fall become the currency for upgrades between runs. The goal is to dig as deep as possible before the pickaxe can no longer push through the mine.
Upgrades
- Damage: increases how effectively the pickaxe breaks through blocks
- Durability: extends how long the pickaxe can keep going through the mine
- Size: changes the physical dimensions of the pickaxe
- Stronger pickaxe variants: unlock more powerful pickaxe types as progression continues
Controls
- Drag left / right: choose the pickaxe's starting position
- DROP button: release the pickaxe into the mine
