Every career plays out differently: some players peak at 27, others hit their best form at 33. The goal is to accumulate as many points as possible across a legend-length career, collecting trophies, earning national team call-ups, and chasing the player of the year award along the way.
Several scenes show a career history screen filled with season-by-season entries, and one view displays a league table alongside detailed match statistics for a selected season.
How to Play Golden Kid: Football Career
Each season kicks off when you press Play Season. The season then runs automatically, generating goals, trophies, and awards without further input. Once it ends, transfer offers land in your inbox — accept one to move clubs or stay where you are.
Club selection is the central decision in every career. Joining a club that is too strong for your current rating means sitting on the bench and stalling your development. Match your level to keep growing. Reach a high enough rating and the national team will call you up; from there, the world championship and Europe's top club tournament become reachable targets.
Retirement is available any time after age 34, and every career ends automatically at 40. Tap any season in your history to pull up detailed stats and the full league table for that year.
