How to Play Subby Quest

The Goal: Survive the endless cave. Push deeper than your last run. Your mission is distance. Every kilometer counts. Die, upgrade, go farther. That's the loop.

Navigate the Abyss

Steer your submarine through tight corridors. Press W/↑ to rise. S/↓ to dive. A/← and D/→ to dodge left and right. Mobile players? Drag the On-Screen Joystick. Simple inputs. Brutal obstacles. Naval mines float everywhere. Rock formations block paths. One hit costs a Heart. Lose all hearts? Game over. Your Distance Meter (KM) freezes. Next run starts from zero.

Collect and Upgrade

Coins scatter across every tunnel. Grab them all. Why? Garage unlocks require stacks of Gold Coins. Buy new submarines like the Marlin. Unlock color skins. Each costs specific amounts shown in the Garage Menu. Pro tip: Skip cheap cosmetics early. Save for Boosts. They matter more. Rare Gems hide in extreme depths. Finding them separates casual divers from real marines.

Master the Boost System

Three boost slots. Press 1, 2, or 3 on desktop. Tap Boost Buttons on mobile. Load consumables from the Boosts Menu. Use them when the cave gets impossible. Tight cluster of mines ahead? Boost. Low on hearts? Boost. Strategic timing doubles your distance. Refill boosts with coins between runs. Don't hoard them. Dead marines don't get refunds.
