About Patang Baaz: Kite Fight
Patang Baaz: Kite Fight puts you on a Lahori rooftop during Basant, steering your kite across a sky full of rivals. The goal is to cross strings, win a pech, and shout "Bo kata!" as cut kites spiral down. Beyond the aerial duels, a separate Field phase has you sprinting to catch those falling kites before other catchers reach them. The collection spans real Pakistani and Indian kites, from small Guddis to giant Tukkals, and the dor and spool you choose shape every fight.
How to Play Patang Baaz: Kite Fight — Steer, Cut, and Catch
The core loop has three connected parts: flying and steering your kite, winning a pech by cutting a rival's dor, and chasing cut kites in the Field to build your collection.
Pech
Cross a rival's dor to start a pech. Every technique is available during the fight. A well-timed Kheench beats a kite standing still, and a patient Dheel beats a Kheench pulled too early. Win by cutting the rival's dor before they cut yours.
Kites and Dor
- Big kites pull harder; small kites are quicker.
- Thick dor is harder to cut, and sharp manjha cuts faster.
- Big kites need thick dor.
Field
When a kite is cut, it falls into the Field. Run under a falling kite's dor and tap Grab to catch it. Use the Lagga — a long bamboo pole — to reach high kites or free ones stuck in trees, then tap Add to keep it. Other catchers are competing for the same kites.
Tokens
Cut kites earn tokens. Spend those tokens on kites, dor, and spools.
