About Dominoes classic, duel

Dominoes classic, duel brings the traditional tile-matching board game to life, challenging two players to build a chain of bones by matching the dot values on touching halves. A classic set contains 28 dominoes — also called stones or bones — each rectangle divided into two halves carrying dots from 0 to 6. The game runs against artificial intelligence or against a real opponent in multiplayer mode. Several scenes show the small white rectangular tiles with black pips arranged in a continuous layout around the play area.

How to Play Dominoes classic, duel

At the start of each game, 7 bones are dealt to each of the two players. The remaining tiles sit face-down in reserve — the market — waiting to be drawn when needed.

Taking Turns and Drawing from the Market

The player holding the double 6-6 goes first, placing that bone to open the chain. From there, players alternate placing tiles whose value matches the open end of the chain — 6-1, 6-2, and so on. When a player has no matching tile, additional bones must be taken from the market. Taking more bones from the market moves a player further from winning, since holding many tiles is a disadvantage in dominoes.

Ending a Round

A round ends when one player places their last stone. That player wins and is credited with the total point value of all tiles still held by the losing player. A round can also end in a "fish" — a situation where every player still holds bones but no legal placement exists. In that case, the player with the fewest points in hand wins, and the difference in points is recorded as the win margin.

Starting New Rounds and Reaching the Final Score

The winner of each round makes the first move in the next. Play continues until one player accumulates a pre-agreed total: 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, or 300 points.
