About Melon Sandbox
Melon Sandbox is a creative open-world sandbox from DUCKY LTD where imagination drives everything — build scenes from scratch, populate them with characters, arm them with melee weapons, guns, and barrels, organize races in armored vehicles, and experiment with magical syringes to observe the effects. Creations can be saved and shared with the community, and mods uploaded by other players expand what's possible in your world.
How to Play Melon Sandbox
Drag and drop items and mechanisms onto the game field. Double-click any item to invoke the context menu, where resizing, texture changes, and other adjustments are available. Hit the Save button to store a scene, then find it in the corresponding item list tab. Open the map theme change menu to adjust surrounding decor and use available elements to diversify the environment.
Building Your World
Three core creative areas shape what you build. Mode lets you choose or create an element for world-building. Map gives you a small world built from scratch where you set the atmosphere. World is where you define your own rules, mechanics, aesthetics, and heroes — realizing anything from a compact scene to a full game.
What to Experiment With
The sandbox starts with the full range of creative elements immediately accessible — background textures, characters, accessories, weapons, mechanisms, syringes with unusual effects, and complex structures. Build a scene, then test it using weapons, vehicles, explosions, and other tools to observe the resulting effects and destruction. Complexity grows as you combine provided elements or create entirely new objects, enriching your file manager. The store and editors surface additional mods, maps, and games made by other players.
