Battle vs Submarines
About Battle vs Submarines
Battle vs Submarines puts you in command of a surface ship tasked with wiping out every enemy submarine lurking below. The core challenge is dropping depth charges from your vessel while dodging a growing arsenal of threats from below — mines, magnetic mines that home in on your hull after surfacing, and missiles, including self-guided ones launched by more advanced submarines. A grey multi-masted ship sits atop a light blue horizontal line above a darker blue area, giving the battlefield a clean, layered look that keeps the action readable at a glance.
How to Play Battle vs Submarines
At the main menu, choose a sailor class — beginner, experienced, or master — to set your starting difficulty. Before the action begins, doubling your bomb count or adding armor is possible by tapping the button showing the corresponding picture and the "video clip" label.
The objective is to destroy all enemy submarines using depth charges dropped from the ship. Bombs are limited, so every drop counts. Submarines vary by type: some lay mines, some launch missiles, and the more modern ones fire self-guided missiles. Magnetic mines surface and then move toward the ship, demanding constant repositioning. The ship must be maneuvered to avoid being struck by enemy shells.
The run ends under four conditions: all submarines are destroyed (victory), the ship takes irreparable damage, the depth charges run out, or too much time passes and the ship exhausts its fuel.
Hearts displayed on screen indicate the ship's survivability — essentially the number of lives remaining.
