Sea Battle 2 takes everyone's favorite childhood board game and loads it with new abilities and a much wider arsenal. Battleships, airplanes, submarines, mines, and radar all enter the mix, pushing the familiar grid-based duel well beyond its original form. The game is presented in beautiful graphics styled after a notebook, with effects that give it originality and an atmosphere all its own.

Two rectangular grids with blue borders and grid lines, labeled A through J vertically and 1 through 10 horizontally, form the playing field. In one scene, a green sketched four-engine plane with cross-shaped shadows appears over a white and blue grid. Another scene shows an isometric city drawn in blue ink, featuring a stone triumphal arch, a lighthouse, and buildings with domes and columns.

Beyond the battles themselves, Sea Battle 2 asks you to build a port city, collect rewards, win in epic arenas, and unlock new buildings — military bases, shipyards, factories, skyscrapers, landmarks, and more. Increase your rank and work toward becoming the admiral of your fleet.

How to Play Sea Battle 2: Sink the Enemy Fleet to Win

The first step is placing your ships on the playing field. You'll find 10 ships in total, ranging in size — the largest is a four-deck ship and the smallest is a single-deck vessel. Once placement is done, the shooting phase begins.

Each shot draws a response from your opponent: "hit," "missed," or "sank." A miss passes the turn to your opponent; a hit lets you shoot again until you miss. A hit is marked with a red cross, and when a ship is completely sunk, it is rendered in full. In the "Sea Battle. Atomic boom" mode, the winner is whoever sinks all of the opposing fleet's ships the fastest.

Use the various types of weapons at your disposal — including airplanes, submarines, mines, and radar — to build your strategy, sharpen your tactics, and give your rivals no opening. Win battles to climb the ranks, earn trophies, and expand your port city with new buildings.
