Leaderboards

Every game on Playgama has its own leaderboard: the players who spent the most time in that game over the last seven days. No sign-up, no scores to submit — just play, and the board picks you up.

What the number means

It's your time in that game — how long you actually played it. Nothing else counts: not wins, not levels, not clicks. Play longer than the person above you and you move up.

Every board covers seven days

A board always shows the last seven days and refreshes once a day, so the week you're playing now is the week that counts. Yesterday's time is in; last month's is gone.

There's no all-time board, and that's on purpose — every week is a clean start, so a player from two years ago isn't sitting on top of your favourite game forever.

Twelve hours a day, max

We count up to twelve hours per game per day. Anything beyond that doesn't add to your total, so leaving a game open all night won't get you to the top — and won't keep anyone else there either.

Your name on the board

You get an automatic nickname like Steady Buffalo, and it stays the same on every board you appear on. Your account, email and profile are never shown — the board is just a nickname and a time.

Only time on Playgama counts

Boards are built from what happens on playgama.com. Playing the same game somewhere else won't move you here.

Questions players ask

I played a lot — why am I not on the board?
Only the top ten show up, and on a popular game the tenth place can be several hours of play. Keep going, or try a quieter game where the bar is lower.

Why does this board have only three names?
Because only three people played that game in the last seven days. Boards aren't padded out with empty places, and a game nobody played this week has no board at all.

My name was there yesterday and now it's gone.
The board moves with you: as the seven-day window slides forward, older sessions drop out. If someone played more than you this week, they take the spot.

Can I change my nickname?
Not right now — nicknames are generated automatically and can't be picked or edited.

Can someone find out that this is me?
No. The nickname isn't your account name and isn't linked to anything public: there's nothing on a board that points back to you.

Do leaderboards work on my phone?
Yes. Boards are the same whether you play on a phone, a tablet or a computer, as long as you're playing on playgama.com.
