Sneak into a guarded nest and grab an egg, then carry it back to your base before the angry guard catches you. Once home, place the egg in the pen and wait for it to hatch — the result could be a common, rare, epic, legendary, or mythical pet. The rarer the pet, the more the collection grows in value.

Between runs, invest in treadmill upgrades to train your speed. Greater speed makes escaping guards easier and opens access to more dangerous locations with more valuable eggs. Buying trails adds a visual effect to your run and also grants speed-training multipliers, compounding your progress over time.
