Floor Plan is a minimalist logic puzzle inspired by architectural drawings. Each cell in the grid either becomes a wall or stays as open floor, and every numbered clue tells you exactly how many walls touch it from the four cardinal directions. The goal is to deduce the complete layout without guessing — every puzzle has one unique solution reachable by pure logic alone.

How to Play Floor Plan: Deduce Walls by Pure Logic

The objective is to fill the grid so that every wall cell is adjacent to exactly as many other walls as its number states. Numbers count only the cells directly above, below, left, and right — diagonals never count. Two walls sharing the same number may not touch each other, and every puzzle resolves to a single correct answer.

Solving Strategy

• Begin with clues where the numbers leave only one possible arrangement.
• A clue's adjacent walls combined with any confirmed empty marks must add up to its stated number.
• Satisfied cells grow small doors between them, giving visual confirmation that those placements are consistent.

Controls

• Tap a clue cell, then choose 1–4 from the palette: Place a wall value in that cell.
• Tap X: Mark a cell as confirmed empty floor (optional).
• Keys 1–4: Place the corresponding number on desktop.
• Key X: Mark a cell as empty on desktop.
• Delete: Clear a cell on desktop.
• Tap Check: Highlight any cells that currently break the rules.
