Classic Corners: Forest
About Classic Corners: Forest — Calm Strategic Board Game
Classic Corners: Forest is a corner-style board game that blends analytical challenge with a calm, cozy atmosphere. The goal is to move all your pieces into the opponent's home corner before they do the same to you, with draws and time-based tiebreakers adding strategic depth to every match. Three distinct modes cover solo play against a computer, local two-player matches on a shared board, and competitive online play against opponents worldwide with leaderboard rankings.
How to Play Classic Corners: Forest
Start by choosing a game mode — against the computer or on one board with another player — then move your pieces toward the opponent's home corner.
End Game Conditions
- The first player to move all pieces into the opponent's house wins.
- If both players complete their houses at the same time, the result is a draw.
- All checkers must leave a player's own house within 40 moves (80 total game moves).
- Returning a checker to your own house after the 40th move (80th game move) results in a loss.
- After Black's 80th move (160 total game moves), if neither side has completed a house, the player with more checkers placed in the house wins; equal counts result in a draw.
Game Modes
- Computer Play: Battle a virtual opponent with difficulty ranging from beginner to master, letting you build skills progressively.
- Play with a Friend: Compete on the same board with another player to see who handles the pieces better.
- Competitions and Leaderboards: Challenge players from around the world and climb the rankings by showcasing your strategic talent.
