About Candlebound Coven

Candlebound Coven drops you into the dreams of Sister Mina, a hungry little nun cat who carries a single candle into the dark while cute dessert monsters swarm in from every direction. Each run lasts exactly five minutes, and bosses wake every 45 seconds to push the pressure higher until the dream either breaks or you reach morning. The game is a survivor-like roguelite built around automatic combat — Mina's rites cast themselves, so the whole challenge lives in movement and build choices.

Between runs, Candles spent in the Coven Shop and on the 177-star Moon Tree carry progress forward. Daily and weekly tasks, a trophy collection, a bestiary to fill, and five distinct dreams to unlock — from the Midnight Kitchen to the Witch's Attic — give each session a reason beyond the five-minute timer.

How to Play Candlebound Coven: Survive the Five-Minute Dream

The goal is to keep Mina alive through the full five-minute dream. Her rites attack on their own; your job is to steer her and choose upgrades at each level-up.

Glowing candle motes dropped by fallen enemies are what trigger level-ups, so moving through the battlefield to collect them matters. At every level-up, three midnight rite cards appear and you pick one — orbiting candles, homing charms, a supper chime, frost, meteors, and more — shaping a new build each run. Surviving every boss and reaching morning clears the dream and opens the next one. Candles earned during runs can then be spent on the Moon Tree and in the Coven Shop before the next attempt.
