About UCN - Ultimate Custom Night: Your Personal Animatronic Purgatory

UCN - Ultimate Custom Night drops you into a closed office that serves as your personal purgatory, stocked with all 50 animatronics from the Five Nights at Freddy's horror series. Before each night begins, you hand-pick which of those 50 characters will be active and dial each one's AI level anywhere from 0 to 20 — meaning every session can be a gentle warm-up or an overwhelming gauntlet entirely of your own design. Survive from midnight to 6 AM, and your score climbs with every animatronic you endure and every AI level you push higher. The ultimate test the game sets before you is the 50/20 challenge: all 50 animatronics, every one of them at level 20.

A black and white checkered tile floor extends through the hallway and main office area in several scenes. One scene shows a large black desk fan sitting in the center of the main office workspace. Another scene places multiple CRT monitors and crumpled paper balls scattered across a metal desk.

Sound plays a key role, heralding the approach of animatronics before they reach you. Six in-game hours compress into roughly four and a half minutes of real time, and eerie audio keeps the tension unrelenting from the very first second.

How to Play UCN - Ultimate Custom Night: Survive the Night

Setup happens in the main menu, where you activate the animatronics that will be active during the night. Pick any combination you like, or select a pre-made challenge template and complete it. You are able to also choose the office where you'll spend the night and pick a starting bonus to give yourself an edge.

Once the night begins, you must simultaneously monitor cameras — both main and additional ones — manage doors, ventilation, energy, and temperature, and ensure no enemy reaches you. Closing doors at the right moment is central to staying alive. Survive until 6 AM to see the final cutscene and night statistics; a sudden animatronic encounter or complete electricity depletion ends the run immediately.

Your score is determined by the number of active animatronics and the AI level assigned to each one. Winning also earns coins, which unlock the ability to customize your office from one of 4 available decor options.

Enemies / Bosses

    • Freddy Fazbear: The original franchise mascot, occupying the first slot in the UCN character list. He attacks through the left door — close it in time to stop his advance. Considered one of the easier opponents at low difficulty, but a serious threat at higher levels.
    • Golden Freddy: The golden counterpart of Freddy, surrounded by lore about a child's ghost. If he appears on screen, you must immediately raise the monitor/cameras — looking at him triggers an instant jumpscare. Regarded as one of the most nerve-wracking characters due to the reaction speed required.
    • Springtrap: The main franchise antagonist — a twisted bunny suit containing the body of serial killer William Afton. In UCN he silently sneaks through the front vent; the only defense is closing the ventilation door in time based on visual signals, not sound.
    • Marionette: A central lore character connected to the story of murdered children. Her behavior requires active action: you must manually wind the music box in camera 4. If the box stops and she "gets angry," an immediate attack follows.
    • Nightmare: The final boss of the fourth game in the series and the embodiment of the main child's nightmare. Features an aggressive design and high attack speed at increased difficulty levels, making him one of the most demanding opponents in terms of player reaction.

Power-ups / Abilities

    • FRIGID: The office starts at a cold temperature — 50 degrees.
    • 3 Coins: The match starts with 3 Faz-Coins in reserve.
    • BATTERY: The game begins with 102% charge, slightly above the 100% maximum, providing a small energy buffer at the start of the night.
    • DD REPEL: Prevents the appearance of the character Dee Dee during the night, disabling the mechanic specifically related to her.

FAQ

How does difficulty work in UCN - Ultimate Custom Night?

Difficulty is entirely self-determined. Before each night you choose which of the 50 animatronics to activate and assign each one an AI level from 0 to 20. Pre-made challenge templates are also available if you prefer a curated setup. Even when repeating the same opponent lineup, character movements and attack patterns vary between runs.

What is the 50/20 challenge?

The 50/20 challenge means setting all 50 animatronics to AI level 20 simultaneously and attempting to survive the full night. It is the hardest configuration the game offers.

How is the score calculated?

Your score depends on the number of animatronics active during the night and the AI level assigned to each one. More animatronics at higher levels means more points for surviving.

What can coins be spent on?

Coins earned through victories unlock office customization. You'll find 4 available decor options to choose from.

Does sound matter during a night?

Sound plays a key role, as it heralds the approach of animatronics. Note that Springtrap specifically moves silently through the front vent, so visual signals are the only warning for him.

What systems must be managed simultaneously during a night?

During a night you must monitor cameras (both main and additional), manage doors, ventilation, energy, and temperature — all at the same time. Letting any one system slip can give an animatronic the opening it needs.
