About Serpento: Snake Game with an Exit Twist
Serpento takes the classic snake formula and adds a second objective that changes everything. Eating every apple on the board is only the first half of each level — once the last apple is gone, a door slides open in the wall, and the real challenge begins: guiding your entire tail through that exit to complete the stage. Across 24 levels, the layouts escalate from open fields to tight two-tile mazes, and two hazards keep things unpredictable. Brown pits teleport the snake to another spot on the board, while frogs hop away as the snake closes in — but touching one is fatal. A best score is saved for every individual level, giving each stage its own target to chase.
How to Play Serpento
Eat every apple on the board to trigger the exit door, then steer your whole tail through the opening to finish the level. Frogs kill on contact; they hop away as the snake approaches, so their position shifts as the snake moves. Brown pits teleport the snake to a different location on the board. One hard rule applies at all times: the snake cannot turn back on itself. Three speeds are available, letting players set the pace that suits them.
