About Bonecrypt: Hand-Drawn Dungeon Roguelite
Bonecrypt is a dungeon action roguelite rendered in a hand-drawn ink style. Each run sends players through branching crypt floors populated by skeleton warriors, archers, mages, beetles, and wraiths. Three playable classes — Knight, Ranger, and Mage — give each attempt a different feel, and the combination of keys, locked vaults, secret walls, cursed chests, and timed trial rooms ensures no two runs play out the same way. Nine unlockable weapons, 37 blessings, three bosses spread across three chapters, permanent upgrades purchasable at camp, and five Nightmare difficulty levels give the game substantial depth beyond a single playthrough.
How to Play Bonecrypt: Clear Floors and Defeat Three Bosses
The goal in each chapter is to clear every room, collect keys, and open the path down to the chapter boss. Defeating all three bosses across the three chapters wins the run.
Enemy attacks come in two distinct types that demand different responses. Yellow attacks can be parried, and landing a successful parry triggers a significant counter. Red attacks cannot be parried and must be dodged instead. Between runs, permanent upgrades are available for purchase at camp, and blessings accumulated during a run shape how each attempt develops.
