About Art'N Ball: Tennis Meets 3D Platform Puzzle

Art'N Ball blends classic tennis mechanics with a 3D platform game, sending the player on a rolling journey through a richly varied world. The central object is an Earth-ball — a sphere textured like a terrestrial globe — which the player must keep in play across a gallery hallway that twists, turns, narrows, and widens as the scenery shifts around it. Several scenes show that Earth-ball centered within a white rectangular frame, making it the constant visual anchor of the experience.

The journey moves through countryside and mountainous territories, underground passages, ocean depths, frantic cityscapes, lush arty landscapes, and ultimately into orbit for a surprise finish. One interior environment features a wooden setting with circular brass-rimmed windows looking out to a blue expanse. The goal across all of this is to guide the Earth-ball past walls, art exhibits, photo challenges, and puzzle challenges until it finally escapes the enclosed gallery pathway into infinite Space.

How to Play Art'N Ball

The player must ceaselessly return the Earth-ball with a racket as the gallery hallway changes shape and ambiance around them. Keeping a constant eye on the ball's trajectory is essential — anticipating its return and choosing the most appropriate angle lets the player overcome obstacles and squeeze through tighter passages. At the end of every 3 Acts, a Level boss must be faced to exit the gallery. The game spans 8 levels, each divided into those 3 Acts.

Bonuses and Extras

  • Catch bonuses to maximize gameplay
  • Complete image puzzles for rewards
  • Take in-game world screenshots
  • Light exhibits to uncover their art contents
  • Enjoy views of outside scenery through large bay windows

Maluses and Turning Them Around

Maluses will slow progression, but they can be turned to the player's advantage. Completing the missing blocks of a puzzle or landing a final screenshot can recover an extra life. A downsized racket, while a penalty, can also offer an easier path through tight spots.

Strategy and Prioritization

A key strategic choice runs through every level: push the ball forward to finish the level quickly, or pause to complete puzzles and take screenshots to earn extra lives and improve score and level ranking. Both paths are valid, and the balance between them shapes the final result.

Saving and Replaying

The Save Game option lets the player save at every Act end and at every level start, with Load Game available to continue from those points. All previously completed and saved levels can be revisited through the Choose Game Level menu. Average completion time per level for beginners using Save Game is around 20 to 30 minutes.

Training Room

A Training Room is accessible from the main menu. It covers the game's principles and mechanics — though intentionally only in part, leaving some discovery to the player — shows an automatic demo, and lets the player test the game before entering Level 1.
