About Planko: A Ball-and-Plank Physics Strategy Game

Planko is a strategy game built around a single satisfying challenge: guide a red ball from its starting point to a green target. Each level is a compact physics puzzle assembled from balls, planks, platforms, and obstacles, and the red ball moves under gravity the whole time. Several scenes show a solid blue background covered by a white grid of squares. The pace is thoughtful rather than frantic — the real work happens before any tap is made.

How to Play Planko: Clear the Right Balls in the Right Order

The red ball's path is blocked by other balls sitting on planks and platforms. Tapping a removable ball makes it disappear, which can shift the balance of the level and let the red ball roll, slide, bounce, or fall onto the planks below. The order of removal matters: taking out the wrong ball too early can send the red ball in the wrong direction or cause it to miss the green target entirely.

The approach is to plan moves first, then clear the correct obstacles so the planks guide the ball all the way to the finish. Each new level introduces a different puzzle to solve, so the arrangement of balls, planks, and obstacles changes every time.
