About Beam Crash Polygon: Soft-Body Physics Crash Sandbox
Beam Crash Polygon puts you in a test range where the only question is how much of your car survives a full-speed impact. Bodywork crumples on contact, and the resulting damage actively changes how the car handles from that point on. Soft-body physics calculates every deformation in real time, so no two crashes look or feel identical.
The sandbox gives you room to experiment freely — try a head-on collision, clip a barrier at an angle, or throw the car into a drift. Adjusting your speed and approach angle produces different results on the same car, making each run its own small experiment. A red vehicle with a missing rear window and a yellow internal component appears across several views of the game. In one scene, grey spiral ramps and a vertical loop structure rise alongside textured brown cliffs.
Handling profiles range from arcade to realistic, and multiple camera views let you study the impact from different angles. The driving sandbox is built around open-ended experimentation rather than a fixed objective.
How to Play Beam Crash Polygon: Build Speed, Crash, Compare
Pick a car and a test range, build up speed, and aim for an obstacle. The core loop is comparison: run the same crash at different speeds and impact angles to see how the damage changes. Hold Shift to slow time just before contact and watch the deformation unfold frame by frame. Hold T to rewind and attempt a different manoeuvre, or reset the car entirely for a clean run.
Open the menu to change cars, select a different test range, and adjust the controls. From there you are able to set your own challenges — hold a drift, test a side impact, or repeat a crash at a higher or lower speed to compare the outcome.
