Lockdice
Lockdice - Play Online
Logic puzzle meets dice grid. Lockdice flips the script—no rolling here. Just pure spatial thinking. Developed by stillrain, this brain-burner challenges you to place every die perfectly. One rule: match neighbors.
How to Play Lockdice
The mission? Simple on paper. Place all dice on the grid. Each die's number must equal its adjacent cells. Sounds easy. It's not. Lockdice demands perfect placement—every square counts.
Core Mechanic: Neighbor Matching
Grab a die. Drop it on an empty square. Check the number. Count adjacent cells—up, down, left, right. Match them exactly. Walls block adjacency. Edge cells don't count. Die shows 3? Better have exactly three neighbors touching it. Wrong placement? Game over.
Rotation & Blocked Sides
Some dice have blocked faces. Can't use those for counting. Place the die first. Then rotate it. Twist until blocked sides face walls or edges. Adjacent cells touching blocked faces? Don't count them. This mechanic saves you when space gets tight. Use it smart.
Magic Dice Strategy
Magic dice change everything. Their value isn't fixed—it auto-matches adjacent dice count. Fill tricky corners with these. But timing matters. Place regular dice first. Build the foundation. Drop magic dice last to fill gaps. Rush it? You'll trap yourself.
Pro Tactics
Start with high-value dice. A 4 needs four neighbors—middle of the grid only. Place low values (1, 2) near edges. Scan for forced moves—spaces where only one die fits. Clear those first. Blocked sides are lifesavers in corner clusters. Rotate aggressively. One wrong angle ruins the puzzle.
