About Sudoku: Fill a 9×9 Grid with Numbers 1 to 9

Sudoku is a classic number puzzle built around a 9×9 grid of 81 cells, divided into nine smaller 3×3 squares. At the start of each game, some cells already contain numbers from 1 to 9, and the challenge is to fill every remaining cell so that each digit from 1 to 9 appears exactly once in every row, every column, and every 3×3 square. Several scenes show a grid populated with black and dark-blue digits against white, light-blue, and yellow square backgrounds. Multiple difficulty levels are available to choose from, and mistakes are something to watch out for as you work through the puzzle.

How to Play Sudoku

Select any empty cell by clicking on it, then click the number you want to place there. When you are not yet certain of a number, the Notes button lets you mark candidate digits in a cell without committing to a final answer. The goal is to complete the entire 81-cell grid so that every row, column, and 3×3 square contains each digit from 1 to 9 exactly once.

Controls

  • Click on a cell: Select the cell you want to fill
  • Click on a number: Place that number in the selected cell
