Only Up: Parkour In Apocalypse drops you into a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by a global zombie virus, where a brave teenager must ascend through destroyed buildings and crumbling structures using raw parkour skills. The goal is simple and unforgiving: climb higher, clear every obstacle, and never fall — because falling means starting the ascent all over again. Zombies and other survivors lurk along the way, and secrets hide at the tops of the tallest buildings for those who make it that far.
Run, jump, and navigate upward through a massive obstacle course built from wrecked cars, ruined buildings, barrels, and other debris. Every fall sends you back up from where you dropped, so timing each jump and keeping your balance are essential. The obstacle course spirals up through one large continuous level, unlocking new locations and increasingly difficult challenges as altitude grows. Reach checkpoints to mark progress as you push toward the very top.
Along the route upward you can also explore the city at the beginning of the map. Coins and wings are scattered throughout — collect coins to purchase skins in the shop, and gather wings to unlock a special skin that cannot be bought directly.
Earn achievements by completing specific series of actions — some are straightforward, like opening 10 cases, while others demand considerably more effort.
There are 3 difficulty levels. Easy places checkpoints more frequently for a relaxed, exploratory experience. Medium offers a balanced challenge with occasional tough spots. Hard is the most punishing setting, aimed at experienced players.
Coins collected across the map can be spent in the skin shop to unlock character skins. There is also a special skin tied exclusively to collecting wings — it cannot be purchased with coins.
Falling means climbing back up again from where you dropped. Reaching checkpoints along the course marks your progress so the full ascent does not have to be repeated from the very bottom.
Achievements unlock by completing specific series of actions — for example, opening 10 cases. Some are easy to knock out naturally, while others will take deliberate effort.
The entire game takes place on one large level — a massive obstacle course that spirals continuously upward. New locations and obstacles open up as you climb higher.
