Lighthouse Mage: Idle Defense drops you onto a small rocky island where your lighthouse is the only thing standing between the shore and relentless waves of crabs, jellyfish, eels, pirate rafts, and massive sea bosses. The lighthouse fires magic bolts on its own, but the depth comes from how you spend gold, aim the beam, and build toward permanent power between runs. Every tenth wave delivers a boss, and the seas grow stranger as you push further — from icy waters to volcanic and abyss environments.
The lighthouse handles its own shooting, so your attention goes to the upgrade cards along the bottom of the screen. Three card types — Attack, Defense, and Magic — let you spend gold on damage, attack speed, health, armor, and income during a run. Aiming the lighthouse beam yourself at enemies deals double damage. Four spells are available and can be cast using the buttons on the right side of the screen.
Every tenth wave brings a boss. When the lighthouse eventually falls, the run ends and you move to the Harbor, where pearls and relics collected during the run go toward permanent upgrades. Each attempt pushes toward a higher wave count, and progress through the seas — icy, volcanic, and abyss — opens up as you advance.
If the idle defense loop keeps you coming back, idle games on Playgama cover a wide range of upgrade-driven experiences worth exploring. For another mage-versus-waves setup, Mage Castle Idle Defense puts you in charge of a tower mage with unlockable spells, rune upgrades, and endless enemy waves including bosses. If you prefer your tower to physically evolve as you upgrade it, Idle Mutation Tower Defense is a biopunk roguelite where new abilities literally grow onto your fortress as 3D organs that change how combat plays out.
Broader action-focused browsing is easy through arcade games and action games, both of which surface fast-paced skill-based titles that share Lighthouse Mage's wave-survival energy.
