About Chain Pop

Chain Pop is a neon puzzle-arcade game built around chain reactions — tap a glowing bubble, and its blast radius ignites nearby bubbles, which ignite the next, cascading until the screen clears. The twist: chain strength is decoupled from bubble size. Big, dim bubbles are often decoys with weak blasts, while small, brightly glowing ones are the true detonators that trigger the biggest cascades. Reading the glow matters more than reading the size.

Every level is procedurally generated with a mathematically guaranteed minimum solution of 1–3 taps, so a perfect clear always exists. Find it and the game answers with cascading particle bursts, expanding light-ripples, a rising musical chain of notes, and dramatic slow-motion on the final pops.

How to Play Chain Pop

The goal each level is to clear every glowing bubble from the screen using as few taps as possible. Each level displays a star target — the minimum tap count needed for a 3-star clear. Any full clear earns at least 1 star; matching the star target earns 3.

Find the Real Detonator

Each bubble's blast radius is shown by its glow, not its physical size. Large but dim bubbles detonate weakly; small but bright bubbles send chain reactions across the whole screen. Identify the brightest bubble on the field before tapping to start the most efficient cascade.

Controls

  • Tap a bubble: pop it and trigger its chain reaction

FAQ

How does the star rating system work in Chain Pop?

Each level has a star target showing the minimum number of taps required for a perfect 3-star clear. Clearing the screen in more taps than that minimum still completes the level and earns at least 1 star.

What makes a bubble a strong detonator versus a decoy?

Blast power comes from a bubble's glow, not its size. Brightly glowing bubbles — even small ones — trigger the biggest cascades, while large, dim bubbles tend to have weak blast radii despite their appearance.

Is every level solvable with just a few taps?

Yes. Every level is procedurally generated with a mathematically guaranteed minimum solution of 1–3 taps, so a perfect clear always exists to be found.
