Blok Fishing is a blocky 3D fishing adventure where casting a line is just the beginning. Spread across five islands, the game tasks you with reeling in 71 distinct fish, logging every catch in a fish journal, and steadily building up your gear. Between fishing sessions, you sail through fog to reach new islands, fight sharks and island guardians, and board pirate ships in search of treasure. Selling your catch funds upgrades to your rod, cooler, and boat, keeping the loop of exploration and progression moving forward.
The core fishing mechanic revolves around timing. Hold to cast, then release to throw your line. Once a fish bites, hold to reel right and release to drift left, keeping the fish inside the green zone until it's landed. Outside of fishing, movement uses WASD to walk and Space to jump or board your boat. Sell your catch at the market by pressing E, and visit the tackle box with B to spend your earnings on upgrades. Keys 1 through 4 let you switch between your rod and any weapons you're carrying; aim with the mouse and hold to shoot when facing sharks or guardians. Press Q to open the map and plan your route between islands.
If the blocky 3D style of Blok Fishing appeals to you, Mining Tycoon delivers a similar voxel aesthetic with deep progression — dig through 10 themed mines, sell ores, and upgrade your gear across 20 pickaxes and 20 backpacks. For a broader open-world adventure with fishing, sailing, and combat woven together, World Craft Dream Island lets you fish at sunset, ride boats, and battle giant bosses across multiple realms.
