How to Play Tongits: Empty Your Hand or Win the Fight

Each player receives 12 cards at the start, while the dealer gets 13. The dealer kicks things off by discarding one card. From there, turns follow a clear rhythm: draw a card from the central pile or take the last discarded card, build your sets, then discard to close your turn.

Sets are formed from 3 or more cards sharing the same rank, or a sequence of cards in the same suit. Victory comes in two ways — use all your cards to win outright, or call a "fight" at the right moment to force a showdown. If the central stack runs out before anyone empties their hand, the player holding the lowest total card value takes the win.
