About Tiny Empire: Six-Minute Civilization Builder
Tiny Empire is a bite-sized civilization builder where three settlers on a board-game map are all you need to start. A six-minute timer drives every session: build farms and houses, claim new land, pick technologies, advance through four ages, and make tough choices when barbarians, droughts, or merchants arrive. Every map is procedurally generated, so no two runs share the same layout, and a Daily Challenge gives every player the same seed for a fair head-to-head comparison.
How to Play Tiny Empire: Grow Your Civilization Score
The goal is to reach the highest Civilization Score before the timer runs out. Four tabs organize everything: Build, Land, Tech, and Empire.
Building and Claiming Land
- Tap a building in the Build tab to place it on the best available tile, or tap a specific tile on the map directly.
- Use the Land tab to claim nearby tiles with gold, expanding the territory available for construction.
Research and Advancement
- Open the Tech tab to research technologies that support your growing empire.
- Use the Empire tab to advance through the four ages.
Events and Balance
Keep your people fed, housed, and happy throughout the run. Events — barbarians, droughts, and merchant visits — demand wise answers, and how you respond shapes your final score.
Controls
- Tap a building (Build tab): Places it on the best free tile
- Tap a tile on the map: Places the selected building on that specific tile
- Tap (Land tab): Claims nearby land with gold
- Tap (Tech tab): Researches a technology
- Tap (Empire tab): Advances your age
- Touch and mouse: Both supported
