About The Depth of the Limbo
The Depth of the Limbo follows a girl trapped in limbo who must complete every level in order to wake up. The game uses a top-down view, and across its 13 levels the camera continuously rotates around the character, shifting the orientation of the space as she moves. What looks like a straightforward path quickly becomes disorienting — right, left, up, and down all shift relative to the camera's position, turning simple routes into spatial puzzles.
Several scenes show a round brown figure trailing yellow and orange circles as it travels along zig-zag paths. The environment across various views includes segments with a blue water-like pattern, a grey rocky texture, and light-blue square tiles marked with diagonal lines. In one scene, a curved wooden bridge with thin grey rails connects two brown rocky platforms.
The goal is both simple and affecting: navigate each route from start to finish, push through the inner noise of fear, and wake up refreshed and free.
How to Play The Depth of the Limbo: Complete 13 Rotating Levels
Each of the 13 levels runs on a one-minute test cycle. The camera rotates around the hero throughout, constantly reorienting the space so that familiar-looking paths demand fresh thinking with every turn. The challenge is to complete the route from beginning to end before the cycle ends, despite the shifting sense of direction.
