STAIR BALL drops you into a fast, minimal arcade challenge where a small ball races up an endless staircase packed with deadly spikes and tricky gaps. The premise is stripped back and direct: climb as high as possible without touching a single spike, because one contact ends the run immediately. Several scenes show the staircase built from ascending blocks in either cyan or magenta. Dark gray conical objects with rounded bases appear on the stair surfaces throughout the climb. A small white sphere moves across those stairs, trailing a particle effect behind it.
Rubies scattered along the path can be collected to unlock new balls and styles. Chaining "perfect" moves builds combos and pushes your high score higher. The higher the ball climbs, the faster and harder the game gets — timing, reflexes, and focus are what determine how far a run goes.
The objective is straightforward: keep the ball moving up the staircase without touching any spikes. Each stair can carry black cone spikes, and contact with one ends the run instantly. Reading the spike pattern and committing to a direction early — rather than reacting at the last moment — is what the game demands.
Collect rubies along the way to unlock new balls and styles, and chain perfect moves to build combos and chase a higher score.
STAIR BALL sits naturally among skill games that reward timing and sharp reflexes. If dodging obstacles through tight spaces appeals to you, Geometry Arrow sends an arrow through a spike-filled cave across six escalating levels. Its sequel, Geometry Arrow 2, adds a Wheel character and lets you customize arrow, ball, and block appearances across 13 levels of mixed segments. For a run that keeps accelerating, +1 Speed: Escape Prison builds speed with every obstacle course cleared in a parkour-driven prison break.
