Spore Guard puts a living spore core at the center of the screen and sends waves of animated microbes — acid, shield, tank, fast, slime, and boss variants — converging on it from all directions. The core fires automatically while you tap priority targets, collect biomass, unlock mutations, and fight to survive each escalating wave for the highest score possible.
The spore core shoots on its own — your job is directing its focus by tapping enemies to concentrate fire where it counts most. Glowing biomass drops onto the field; tap it to collect it. When the defensive burst meter fills, activate it with a tap or press Space on desktop. Survive each wave, then choose mutations to shape your build. Permanent upgrades carry over between runs, so protecting the core long enough to reach that upgrade screen pays off in every future attempt.
Waves include acid, shield, tank, fast, slime, and boss enemies, with difficulty escalating as runs progress.
After surviving a wave, you choose mutations that shape your current build. Permanent upgrades also grow between runs, persisting into future attempts.
The defensive burst activates once its meter is ready — tap it on mobile or press Space on desktop.
If the wave-survival and mutation-picking loop of Spore Guard hooks you, Merge & Fight scratches the same itch with auto-attacking combat and a weapon-merging system that rewards decisions made between rounds. For arcade survival with a glowing, high-score-chasing edge, PLAYMUSIC delivers reactive, fast-paced play wrapped in a particle-rich visual style. More wave-defense action lives across arcade games, survival games, and casual games on Playgama.
