About Shadow Grid: Spatial Memory Puzzle Across Four Grid Sizes
Shadow Grid is a spatial memory puzzle game built around one deceptively simple challenge — watch a grid flash a sequence, hold it in memory, and tap it back correctly. Starting on a 3×3 grid with short 3-cell sequences, the game physically expands through 4×4, 5×5, and 6×6 grids as rounds are cleared, while sequences grow longer and more complex. What begins as pure position memory evolves into multi-attribute recall: cells gain color, shapes appear inside them, and noise decoys flash to throw you off.
The difficulty never jumps — it builds through 1,212 carefully designed levels, introducing one new mechanic at a time. Three Phases Per Round
- WATCH: The grid flashes a sequence. Cells light up one by one — study them carefully.
- RECALL: The grid goes dark. Tap the cells you saw, in any order.
- LOCK: Tap LOCK to submit your answer. All cells are checked at once.
Lives and Regression
- Each session starts with 3 lives. Get a round wrong and lose a life; lose all three and the session ends.
- Your checkpoint saves after every correct answer.
- If a session is lost, the checkpoint moves back based on how far you fell — the further you dropped, the more you regress.
- Revive cancels the regression entirely and restores your score.
Progress and Streaks
- Your checkpoint, lifetime score, best streak, and daily streak all persist across sessions.
- Each time you return, you pick up exactly where you left off.
Tips
- Tapping order does not matter — just get the right cells selected.
- In harder levels, color and shape matter too, not just position.
- Use the ↩ Replay button to rewatch the sequence if you have tokens.
