About Math Meteors: Mental-Math Arcade with Eleven Problem Tiers

Math Meteors is a mental-math arcade where meteors drift down toward a planet, each one carrying a math problem. Type the correct answer and the matching meteor explodes; let one reach the surface and it costs a life. Three lives stand between the player and the end of the round.

Problems grow more demanding as a round progresses — starting with addition and subtraction within ten, then moving through multiplication and division, numbers up to a hundred, and eventually two-step problems with brackets. New problem types appear gradually across eleven tiers. Three difficulty levels control how fast and how frequently meteors arrive.

How to Play Math Meteors

Press Play and the round begins immediately using the last selected mode and difficulty. On a first visit the default is all problems on Normal. To switch modes or difficulty, use the two rows of buttons beneath Play or on the result screen.

Solving and Scoring

Solve the on-screen problem and enter the answer on the keypad — positioned on the right in landscape orientation and at the bottom in portrait. The ⌫ key deletes a digit and ✓ submits the answer. The meteor carrying that answer explodes and scores points. Every period of the round raises an in-round multiplier from ×2 up to ×16, and the chosen difficulty multiplies the score on top of that — Easy ×1, Normal ×2, Hard ×4.

A meteor that reaches the planet removes one of three lives. Lose all three and the round ends. On the result screen, switch mode or difficulty if needed and press Play again, or return to the main menu.

Leaderboards and Achievements

Every completed round is submitted to the leaderboards automatically — no sign-in required. Signing in from the leaderboard screen preserves progress and places under an account. Personal records sit alongside global, daily, and weekly tables; places 1–3 earn medals and cups displayed next to the player's name.

Eight achievements track milestones and each one adds a badge to the collection. Once per day the menu offers a daily reward; collecting it extends a streak, and streaks of three, seven, and thirty consecutive days each add a star shown next to the player's name.

A tip from the source: shoot the meteor that will land first — the fast-moving ones have a long tail.
