About Emoji Memory: Find a Pair

Emoji Memory: Find a Pair is a card-matching puzzle where the goal is to flip cards and uncover identical pairs across a playing field. The game moves at a gentle, deliberate pace — flip two cards, see if they match, and keep going until every pair on the board has been found. Several scenes show a grid of rounded squares centered on a brown background with a diagonal cross-hatch pattern. Yellow circular faces with varying expressions, including some wearing blue glasses and orange mustaches, appear on white tiles. Bright green tiles with thin dark outlines fill the grid positions not occupied by those white emoji tiles.

Beyond the core experience, two additional modes let players chase records against others — one focused on completing the field as fast as possible, and one on doing it in the fewest moves.

How to Play Emoji Memory: Find a Pair

The playing field starts with all cards face-down. Flip any card to reveal it, then flip a second. When both cards match, the pair is credited and those cards stay open. When the two revealed cards are different, they automatically turn back over, giving a brief window to memorize their positions before the next attempt. The level is complete once every pair on the field has been opened.

Game Modes

  • Standard play — open all pairs to complete the level
  • Time record — complete the field as fast as possible to set a record against other players
  • Minimum moves record — clear the board using the fewest card openings to compete for the lowest move count

Controls

  • Mouse click: Open a face-down card
  • Finger tap (touchscreen): Open a face-down card
