How to Play Defender: Tanks Merge
The battlefield fills with tanks you combine and position to stop incoming enemy waves. Merging identical tanks produces a single stronger unit with new abilities. Ability buttons let you select a target area to apply special attacks, and canceling an ability is as simple as tapping any ability button or the base area again. Bombs and mines add extra firepower, though mines come with a placement restriction — they cannot be set down near your own tanks, so positioning requires some forward planning. Tanks you no longer need can be cleared by dragging them to the trash can.
