Dead Land: Survival drops players into a ruined world where cities have crumbled and thousands of bloodthirsty zombies roam the streets. The familiar world is gone, and what remains demands constant effort: improving your hero, restoring a shelter, and pushing beyond the safe zone to scavenge for equipment, food, and crafting resources. Clan play lets groups of players raid elite bosses and take on clan challenges together, making cooperation a real part of the experience.
Venture outside the safe zone to gather equipment, food, and crafting resources. Bring those materials back to craft new weapons and gear, and invest in restoring the survivors' settlement. Join forces with other players in clans to tackle elite bosses and clan challenges.
Broken items can be repaired inside the Workshop building. Open the Repair tab there to fix damaged gear rather than discarding it.
To install a new chest in the warehouse, first free up space by removing one of the existing boxes and clearing it of items, then place the new chest in that spot.
Most in-game items — including lighters, cigarettes, matches, and pine cones — may be needed to complete settler quests. Some items also contribute to upgrading buildings and shelters. Excess items can be sold to the trader in the settlement. Accumulating items in advance or collecting them as needed are both valid approaches.
Certain locations require specific conditions to open. For example, to unlock Amelia's Diner after collecting 75 infected ears, move those ears from your inventory into the requirement slot marked 0/75 — simply carrying them is not enough.
To reset progress and start the game from the beginning, go to Profile, then Settings, and press the "Start Over" button.
