About C H A R G E!: WWI Battalion Command
C H A R G E! puts you in command of a World War One battalion, asking you to make the hard calls before the whistle blows. Decide how many men go over the top, choose their formation, arrange fire support, and then watch the charge unfold across no man's land toward the enemy trench. The game ends in a bayonet fight, and every decision made on the planning screen shapes how that fight goes.
How to Play C H A R G E!
Before the assault begins, the planning screen is where the outcome is decided. Set the number of men, pick a formation, and configure fire support, then press CHARGE! to send them forward. Once the charge is underway, keep an eye on soldiers who are being aimed at — selecting the box on a targeted soldier puts him into cover. Use the FLARE button to push soldiers waiting in dead ground forward as a group, and call on the OFFICER button to send your officer ahead. The officer can be moved directly across the front, and pressing SPACE makes him halt to rally the men or charge again. Panning along the front line lets you monitor the full width of the assault.

- Click box on aimed soldier (Mouse / Touch): Make that soldier take cover
- FLARE button (Mouse / Touch): Send soldiers waiting in dead ground forward together
- OFFICER button (Mouse / Touch): Send your officer forward
- W A S D: Move the officer
- Drag (Touch): Move the officer on touch screens
- SPACE: Officer halts and rallies the men / charges again
- A / D or Left / Right arrows: Look along the front
- Mouse resting at screen edge: Look along the front
- O key: Send your officer forward
