Bound to defend is an endless wave defense game where your character holds a fixed position — the camera moves, but the player does not. The goal is to defend an outpost against relentless hordes, gathering gear, merging gear, and enhancing gear as each run progresses. Skill upgrades follow a roguelike structure: every new game starts at level 1, and the character's abilities are built up from scratch. One scene shows a grey environment with dark jagged rocky outcrops and pillars edged in curved black outlines.
A monthly active leaderboard tracks how far each player gets, and the top three holders each month receive permanent exclusive cosmetics delivered through the inbox.
How to Play Bound to defend
The player remains on one location throughout each run. Auto attacks fire by default; the mouse is used to focus where the player directs those attacks. NPCs are navigated and interacted with using the mouse left click, and the inventory is accessed with the I key or by clicking its on-screen button. At the start of each run, a starting class is chosen, and skills are built up over the course of that game.
