How to Play Battle of Banners: Destroy All Enemy Soldiers and Houses

The goal is to destroy all enemy soldiers and houses. Each turn, every soldier performs one action — move or attack. Gold can be spent freely within a turn as long as you have enough.

Combat and Capture

• A soldier can only act on a neighboring tile.
• Attacking means moving onto an enemy tile; if the attack succeeds, that tile becomes yours.
• A soldier defeats an opposing soldier only if its level is higher.
• A level 4 soldier can attack any soldier regardless of level.
• Any soldier destroys a house immediately.

Economy

• Each income tile in a chain connected to a house generates +1 gold per turn.
• Each house generates +2 gold per turn.
• If gold falls short of upkeep costs, soldiers die starting with the most expensive.
