Move your character across the fields to cut grass and clear huge open areas. As you work, loot drops that you are able to collect and sell to earn money. Spend that money on new cutters and upgrade your stats to hit harder and cover ground faster. When you've pushed your run as far as it will go, reincarnate to claim powerful bonuses and begin the next run from a stronger baseline. The ultimate goal is to become the strongest and completely clear all the fields.
