Using macOS Screen Time Controls

The most effective way to block Roblox on your Mac is through Apple’s built-in Screen Time feature. Open System Preferences (or System Settings on newer macOS versions) and navigate to Screen Time. Click “Content & Privacy” and enable restrictions. Under “Web Content,” select “Limit Adult Websites” and add roblox.com to the “Never Allow” list. This blocks both the website and prevents new downloads of the Roblox app.

Blocking Through Your Router

For household-wide protection, configure your router’s parental controls. Access your router’s admin panel (usually by typing 192.168.1.1 in your browser) and look for content filtering or parental control settings. Add roblox.com, rbxcdn.com, and robloxlabs.com to the blocked domains list. This method works across all devices connected to your network.
