Why do numbers disagree between systems?<\/h2>\n

Ad server, mediation and analytics tools rarely agree exactly, by construction: they can use different time zones for the reporting day, one may show gross revenue and another net of fees, and analytics tools like GA4 count sessions and events client-side while an ad platform counts requests and impressions server-side. None of this means one system is wrong – they are measuring different things.<\/p>\n

To reconcile: line up the same date range in the same time zone first. Confirm whether each report is gross or net. Match on a shared key – game ID or placement ID – rather than totals, since a single mismatched game can throw off an aggregate comparison. Compute derived metrics yourself (fill rate, eCPM, RPM) from the raw counts rather than trusting a summary number, since denominators differ: RPM per ad request is not the same as Page RPM per page view. Keep one system as your source of truth for revenue and use the others to explain variance.<\/p>\n
